FanRants are written by fans of the site and sent to emailed to me for consideration. And by consideration, I mean something closer to editing than censorship.

The idea for FanRants is my own, but it could not have come about had it not been for my brother Zac's insufferable love of Kobe Bryant. "Go Kobe go!" Zac would exclaim after Laker wins and losses alike. "GFY, GFY!" I'd exclaim back (although I don't think he knows what the acronym means). Tired of such encounters, I decided to give Zac, and you, the opportunity to have your own voice heard.

So send in your thoughts, or your thoughts of my thoughts, or your tho... (you get the idea) and maybe I'll post 'em.

If you want a picture of you included in your byline, attach one.

If you don't want your email included, make sure you say so.

If you think cats are better than dogs, GFY.
