I want to be that guy.
That guy knows more than you, can draw from a greater breadth and depth of experience than you can ever hope to draw, and his opinions are based on instant-yet-deep consideration into what was just said. His eyebrows tell you everything. Or his smile. Frown. Anger.
If you don't know exactly how you feel about the world, you know exactly who can help.
Not me. That guy.
You probably know him, I sure do, although he's different for every individual. For you it may be someone at work whose company employee number is in the single digits, a friend who always alters the approach you take to a problem, or a religious figure who keeps life in perspective. For you maybe, but for me he was hiding in plain sight my whole life.
